These terms are between you and Verify Your Builder Pty Ltd (ACN 687 611 123) as trustee for S&P Capital Investments (ABN 86 643 391 894), trading as Datum Careers. They apply to the Datum app and datum.careers. Companies also agree to the Company Terms.

Who can use Datum
Anyone looking for work in construction in Australia, of any age, including apprentices under 18. [Legal to confirm requirements for under 18s.]
One account per person, signed in with your own mobile number.
Your profile
Your profile must be true. Projects and references must be genuine, and verifiers and referees must be real people who worked with you.
You may not impersonate anyone or create a profile for someone else.
Membership
Membership is $9 a month inc GST, paid through the App Store or Google Play, and renews each month until you cancel.
Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions. You stay a member until the end of the month you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies and the Australian Consumer Law.
If your membership ends, new roles stop reaching you. Open applications and hiring threads carry on.
Matching
Datum sends you roles that match your profile at 80% or more. A match is not an offer of work, and Datum does not guarantee you will be contacted or hired.
Messages and reviews
Use messaging only for the role you showed interest in. Do not contact a company outside Datum about a role you saw on Datum unless they have invited you to.
No abuse, discrimination, requests for money or ID numbers, or spam. Datum AI may hold a message that breaks these rules.
Reviews must be honest and about your own experience.
Datum's role
Datum is not a party to any employment or contract between you and a company, and is not a recruitment agency acting for either side.
Suspension and closing
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it. You can delete your account at any time.
Consumer law and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, Datum is not liable for decisions made by companies or candidates, or for indirect loss.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of [State or Territory, to confirm], Australia.
